Twas the night before Christmas.....

Yes, that's right. It's Christmas Eve already and tomorrow will be Christmas. It seems like it takes all year to get here, but then in no time at all it's gone. I always feel sad after Christmas, but I don't know why. Maybe it's because you have so much fun getting ready for it -- decorating the tree, sending out cards, drinking hot chocolate in front of the fireplace as you see your presents under the warm glow of the tree, and the sweet smell of cinnamon spice and spruce. Or perhaps it's the family. Year by year at Christmas we all get our presents, but can you list every present that you got in order of the year? Ofcourse not. What we remember about Christmas is the precious moments that we share with our family, whether they be thoughtful or down right dysfunctional.
I hope this Christmas brings you all the warmth and love of the holiday season, and may you enjoy this time with your family, which is so often over-looked. Hopefully when I wake up there will a little bit of snow [at least] where I live, just to make it feel a little more like Christmas.

Talk to you all soon and Merry Christmas!!

The new look

Well this is my new blog. I've done lots of editing, revising and even adding onto the blog. I LOVE the new blogger beta version so much more! There are so many more things you can now do that you couldn't before. If you haven't already checked out my sidebar, you need to cause I have some really cool things you can check out (and I keep adding!)

Had a party last night at my Academic Challenge advisor's house, and tonight I'm going to my sister's house to hang out for a bit and babysit my 10 month nephew in the morning. Over the weekend I finally got to see Jack Black in Nacho Libre (which was kind of disappointing) and Over the Hedge, which made up for it. And I wouldn't mind seeing that upcoming George Clooney movie where he is a military journalist or something. I forget the name. Has anyone seen De' ja 'vu with Denzel? I want to and I heard it was good.

I finally have a break in my schedule and I just started Christmas Break today. Only 4 more days! I've got all my presents, and they are wrapped and ready to go. I've loved watching the annual television shows reflecting back on the year. A new one this year was Comedy Central's Last Laugh '06. And speaking of the 2006 television shows, one thing really upset me: We can make fun of Bush, Mel Gibson, Lindsey Lohan's junk, but we don't even say one word about freaking NASA. Are we being brain washed? As I was editing old posts I came across this one and it reminded me: what ever did happen to those boxes? I mean that was back in August!! See what I mean about the whole cover-up thing? I've been searching the internet like crazy trying to find an update somewhere on what kind of crap NASA's saying about it now and this is the only thing I can find. (Leave it to Wikipedia!)
If anyone knows anything about it or has an update PLEASE let me know so that I can keep up with this conspiracy THAT NEEDS ADRESSING.

Well that's about all I'll say for now. Have a great holiday weekend, and if I don't post again soon, Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah, and a Happy New Year!

Stars

The UFO watch was (ofcourse) unsucessful. About all I saw was a little shooting star. It was fun though, I recomend anyone to do what I did, even if you are a skeptic. The stars were beautiful last night, and the moon was a half full moon. Spent about an hour and a half watching, before I had to go to bed and get some sleep for a business meeting this morning. So, I will probably go out again tonight and stay longer since I don't have any plans tomorrow.

In the latest news, Mel Gibson, (writer and director of The Passion of the Christ, and well known actor), was recently pulled over for drunk driving. Apparantly he is also believed to have made racist remarks to the police officer, about that officer's Jewish religion. (That might just be rumor, so correct me if I'm wrong.) But, the incident sure doesn't help Gibson's reputation of supposedly being "anti-semetic."

That's all for now. Keep cool in this [over a week] of heat waves.

My UFO Watch

Since August and September are the best months to see a UFO, and Wednesdays at 9 PM or so are the best times, tonight I'm going on a UFO watch (again).

I've done some research and the top five areas in Ohio for UFO sightings are

Waynesville, OH
Waverly, OH
Owensville, OH
Madison, OH
Akron, OH area

That makes the chances better, but where I live there have only been two UFO sightings.............. in the past 30-some years. Those were the only ones reported, that is. I know of many accounts of other UFO sightings in this area, one from my own family. These all took place once again, about 30 years ago.

Whenever I have dreams of UFOs (yes, I do have dreams of UFOs!) I always see them as a multitude or group flying in formation. Maybe it's a sign...........

I will be busy tomorrow morning, but I'll let you know how the watch went as soon as possible.

The Birds, the Bees, and even educated M.D's

(The title is an inside xf joke.)
Well, I just really don't know what to do
since I'm done with Season 1 of xf. I can't find Season 4 anywhere, and I really don't want to buy it off the internet but I'm afraid I'll have to. I downloaded a really sweet xf screensaver to my computer the other day - it was originally made like in 93 or 94 so it's really old school. Graphics are cool, but the sound isn't that great.

I just got back from a little trip to Oklahoma (you know....... "where the wind comes sweeping down the plain"......) to pick up two more horses. Yes we are getting in quite the horse business. With the addition to the two horses we just picked up, that makes a total of 8 horses.

Today marks only one month (FOUR WEEKS!) more until the end of freedom as I know it.
It has gone by incredibly fast....... and will continue to do so for the rest of my life.

_____

Lately I have been expirencing strange nervous twitches as I lay in bed at night. They are hard to describe, but it's almost as if my whole body is shaking, yet I have sleep paralysis. I do know that there are many reports of sleep paralysis or something similar to my expirence after a reported alien abduction. Call me crazy if you will, but who knows. There have been a lot of bizzare things going on around here..........

As to my sister:

Sunspots?
Maybe.
Weather/climate changes? Who knows.
Atmospherical oddities? What?!
A sign of the Armagedon? More than likely NOT.
The cops? Nope.
"Big Brother?" Hmmm......
UFOs? They tried to cover-up Roswell didn't they?

>>> Hope that clears things up.

Have a nice day everyone, but don't trust the mail man today. Or that white vehicle parked outside your house right now................... I mean it!

Film Critic

I was watching the Sci Fi channel yesterday and they aired this new television showed called Dead Like Me. It was pretty entertaining, besides the fact that pretty much everybody was dead. (And that her mom thought the word "moist" was pornographic.) The lead actress I recognize from one of the episodes in the third season of XF. Anyway, it's about this typical teenage girl who gets killed by a flying toliet asteroid or something, then becomes a "grim reaper" in which her and her colleuges are suppose to take the souls out of people who are just about to die from these black demon-looking things and then send the souls to "the light". It's another one of those stupid TV shows that suggests a 'higer power' and not God. So I watched two episodes back to back and they seemed pretty good. I don't know, maybe this show could go somewhere. It's better than most shows like "MURDER SHE CROAKED."

Ok, also - about the Pirates of the Caribbean second movie. I've seen the previews and not the movie, but something tells me I don't want to see burnt-out Johnny Depp running around with mascara yelling "arghhh!" I just don't know why people get so into this crap. Perhaps the second will be better than the first, though.

Sorry for the random blog changes. I have been under construction frequently so I apologize if there are large margains or over-lapped text. Also, I added a section called "My Intrests" to my blog. To go there, click here or visit it under my profile.

Pobias do not equal superstitions

Ok so I have a few phobias and I admit that. But for someone that knows you and loves you to "discharge" them like they aren't even there is wrong. And don't even start with the superstition crap.... if you have a problem with the way I handle my life, and the problems that I face daily then you need to just stay away. You don't understand me and you never will - so quite trying to diagnose my actions with your sick perceptions of life.

Maybe I got a little too mad there but I get so sick of people thinking they know me.
Hey, maybe this will cheer me up.

Today's Word

Wow- this is incredibly hilarious! Man I wish so bad that I would have even KNOWN about The X-Files back then! If you want to see these awesome comics.....from one of my favorite comic strips, click here!

Randi came over today with the little one. We all had a good time swimming a soaking up some sun! She should have some pictures up tomorrow probably. [Click on My Sister's Blog under my links.]
Landon sure was fun, but boy can the kid eat!

That's all for tonight -- I think I will perhaps finish my X-Files episode and hit the sack. What is tomorrow? Sunday? Yes... church.

I leave you with a quote tonight worth repeating at least once. Please keep it in your heart.

we haven't yet learned how to ask."

A new item to the stash.....

Well the X-Files mousepad I ordered finally came in the mail today! I am so excited. It is always fun getting a new item to add to the collection. Although in my case, I really did need a new mouse pad - what a better one to have though, with Mulder and Scully on it!
Although I couldn't find an exact picture of the mousepad, I did find the picture that is on it [at right].
