She didn't win......

mark griffiths, smark sniffiths
Yes it is true. Gillian Anderson went home the other night with nothing. It figures that Elizabeth I would win everything. But then again, the only thing that actually saved Bleak House was Gillian. Oh well. (She'll be nominated for something next year, right?) ;)
For more various pics from the emmys of Gill, click here.
If you didn't know Gillian was nominated for an emmy, see this old post.

Former X-Files star pregnant!

Really, it's not a huge shock. I mean, Gillian really is a rebel. But still, just THREE MONTHS after her split? Check out this article from www.dailymail.co.uk:

X-Files star Gillian Anderson pregnant, months after leaving husband

Gillian Anderson

The truth is in there: X-Files star Gillian Anderson, 37, is expecting a baby just three months after leaving her husband.

The actress has told friends she is expecting a baby following her separation from documentary-maker Julian Ozanne, her second husband.

Friends said she made the announcement after passing the 12-week mark, when the chance of hitting problems in the pregnancy drops significantly.

Miss Anderson, who already has an 11-year-old daughter from her first marriage, split from Mr Ozanne in April, 16 months after their lavish Kenyan wedding in December 2004.

The pair had enjoyed a whirlwind romance and their wedding was held on the remote island of Lamu.

Miss Anderson is now reported to be dating wheelclamping firm director Mark Griffiths. The 34-year-old businessman, who operates his lucrative private clamping company from an industrial estate in North London, was previously linked with former Spice Girl Geri Halliwell.

Last month Mr Griffiths, who used to live close to Miss Anderson's marital home in Notting Hill, West London, moved into her new £3million home in nearby Holland Park.

The couple are also said to have enjoyed a holiday to California with Piper, Miss Anderson's daughter by her first husband, Canadian television art director Clyde Klotz. The actress's marriage to Mr Ozanne broke down shortly after The Mail on Sunday revealed she had a bizarre alcohol-fuelled outburst on a flight in January this year.

At the time fellow passengers told how Miss Anderson had aimed an extraordinary four-letter tirade at a fellow traveller on a flight from Sri Lanka to London.

One passenger said: "She was abrasive and aggressive and was slurring...the crew continued to serve her wine. She was not attractive, she reminded me of a 35-year-old spinster."

Chicago-born Miss Anderson, who shot to international fame as Agent Dana Scully alongside David Duchovny's Fox Mulder in the hit Nineties TV series X-Files, has had a colourful love life. Her marriage to Mr Klotz was as short-lived as her second. The actress left Mr Klotz in 1996 after two years, saying: "I've outgrown him. He bores me."

Miss Anderson has had recent professional success, having been nominated both for a Bafta and an American Emmy for her portrayal of Lady Dedlock in the BBC's adaptation of Charles Dickens's Bleak House.

Last year she starred alongside comedian Steve Coogan in the hit British film A Cock And Bull Story.

When The Mail on Sunday asked Mr Ozanne if his former wife was pregnant he declined to
comment.

Asked the same question, a spokesman for the actress sent an e-mail stating: "It is not our policy to comment on a client's private life. We know, however, that you would like to congratulate her on her Emmy nomination for Bleak House and great continued professional success."

Today's Word

Wow- this is incredibly hilarious! Man I wish so bad that I would have even KNOWN about The X-Files back then! If you want to see these awesome comics.....from one of my favorite comic strips, click here!

Randi came over today with the little one. We all had a good time swimming a soaking up some sun! She should have some pictures up tomorrow probably. [Click on My Sister's Blog under my links.]
Landon sure was fun, but boy can the kid eat!

That's all for tonight -- I think I will perhaps finish my X-Files episode and hit the sack. What is tomorrow? Sunday? Yes... church.

I leave you with a quote tonight worth repeating at least once. Please keep it in your heart.

"A dream is the answer to a question
we haven't yet learned how to ask."

A new item to the stash.....

Well the X-Files mousepad I ordered finally came in the mail today! I am so excited. It is always fun getting a new item to add to the collection. Although in my case, I really did need a new mouse pad - what a better one to have though, with Mulder and Scully on it!
Although I couldn't find an exact picture of the mousepad, I did find the picture that is on it [at right].
